it was fun just to walk around... it was a few blocks of shops... we were pressed for time so we did not really get to go through all the shops...

unfortunately, this was to be our last night in taipei... we would come back another day...

reviewing taiwan... part 2...

day 3 saw us heading to dansui... i'm not too sure what was famous there but we knew the dansui matou (jetty) was there... the mrt takes you there... on the way you see a change in buildings... from the tall skyscrapper to the low rise...

to get to the jetty, you need to take the bus which took around 30-40 minutes... once you get there... you won't miss the jetty...

on the day, it was raining... drizzing at times and pouring occasionally... our unbrellas did not protect us as the wind was multi-directional...

after dansui, we headed to beitou... shin beitou to be exact to experience the springs... the area was fun... a lot of uphill walkings...

we reached a focal point of the spring... where you can smell the sulphur... compared to rotorua in new zealand... this was fairly small and the smell was not heavy... still, it was nice to be in the area... to experience nature...
